A continuous C5x6.7 steel channel is anchored to the top of a concrete slab using a 1/2-inch by 10-inch by 10-inch embedded plate with four 5/8-inch diameter by 6-inch long headed studs centered on the channel. A continuous 3/4-inch by 5-inch plate is spaced at 4 feet on center with top and bottom notches at the channel and angle. A continuous L5x3x3/8 angle frames the top of the assembly with 1/4-inch fillet welds applied typically on three sides. The maximum cantilever height is 8 feet 6 inches.
