The hollow structural section beam frames into a concrete wall utilizing continuous angles and embed plates. The connection details feature continuous angle supports fastened with five-eighths inch diameter epoxy anchors at sixteen inches on center using Hilti HIT-RE 500-V3 adhesive, along with three-quarter by nine by twelve inch embed plates secured by four-and-one-half inch diameter epoxy anchors. Welds include one-quarter inch and three-sixteenths inch fillet welds connecting the tube to the ledger, and puddle welds at each flute of the metal deck typically. Architectural finishes are coordinated per the architectural drawings.
