A steel beam connects to an existing concrete wall utilizing a three-quarter-inch steel plate secured with six seven-eighth-inch epoxy bolts and Hilti HIT-RE 500-V3 adhesive. Erection bolts are provided as required, and the plate must be welded before adding roof framing. A five-sixteenth-inch fillet weld extends three sides around the beam web connection. The assembly details both the side elevation section and the corresponding plate and bolt layout.
