An exterior concrete slab features a thickened edge turn-down with continuous number four rebar terminating in standard hooks. The perimeter vertical face extends a minimum of one foot zero inches below the slab level to meet finish grade or exterior paving as specified on architectural drawings. Exterior slab reinforcing is sized per the foundation plan.
