An inframing beam per plan connects to a structural support utilizing a three-eighths-inch thick bent plate and a three-eighths-inch thick plate spaced at four feet zero inches on center, aligned to the inframing beam web where possible. A stiffened clip provides gravity and lateral connection attached to the bent plate per cold-formed metal framing delegated design. One-quarter-inch stiffener plates spaced at four feet zero inches on center align with the gusset below, welded with one-quarter-inch fillet welds on three sides typically. A web connection per plan utilizes bolts through the beam web and a connecting plate. Additional three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds secure the clip angle and stiffener components.
