Two C12 steel channels meet at a mitered corner welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld typical at the joint. An HSS 4x4x3/8 structural steel post is anchored adjacent to the partition face using a three-eighths-inch connection plate fastened with two seven-eighths-inch high-strength bolts. A separate three-eighths-by-six-and-a-half-inch connection plate with two seven-eighths-inch high-strength bolts secures the channel assembly. Top and bottom connections of the post reference an adjacent structural detail sheet.
