A guardrail post fabricated from a 5/8 inch by 1 3/4 inch plate connects to the stair stringer channel using 1/4 inch fillet welds. Tread and riser plates referenced on another sheet frame into the assembly, maintaining a maximum 1/4 inch clearance from the guardrail plate. The channel stringer is sized per plan, and stair tread details coordinate with architectural drawings.
