A hollow structural section door support member connects to a wide flange girt. The hollow structural section is coped for a tight fit against the wide flange beam and secured using a three-eighths inch by four inch by five inch steel plate fastened with two one-half inch diameter A325 bolts. The assembly is positioned adjacent to an insulated metal panel wall system. Wide flange girt flashing is referenced for installation at the exterior face.
