Horizontal steel bridging is furnished in twenty-foot or twenty-five-foot lengths and cut to suit in the field with a minimum lap of two inches. All connections are to be field welded. Bridging size and frequency are to be determined by the joist manufacturer and submitted for engineer of record review.
