The assembly features a steel beam supporting a roof deck with a continuous angle bridging member attached via typical fillet welds. A three-eighths-inch thick full-height stiffener plate is welded to the supporting beam web. A secondary beam connects to the stiffened web using a Type C1 shear connection with three bolts.
