A hollow structural section column per elevation connects to a beam sized per plan using a three-quarter-inch thick plate. The plate is secured with four one-inch diameter A490 bolts and a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld with a field weld indicator. Dimensions establish an eight-inch by one-foot plate size with five-inch and nine-inch bolt spacings and one-and-a-half-inch edge clearances.
