This structural section shows open web steel joists positioned below the underside of the deck with varying underside of joist elevations. The assembly incorporates a C200x17 channel member bridging the joist bottom chords, supplied by the open web steel joist manufacturer. A detail reference tag points to sheet S-MB-5.22. Level indicators mark the underside of the deck and the underside of the joist.
