A pipe sleeve passes through a corrugated metal roof deck and is surrounded by an eighteen gauge square plate fastened with number ten sheet metal screws spaced at six inches on center each way. The plate dimensions vary according to the pipe diameter, using a twelve inch square for pipes four inches or smaller, a twenty-four inch square for pipes eight inches or smaller, and a thirty-six inch square for pipes under twelve inches.
