A concrete infill beam at an existing concrete shear wall and pan joist floor structure is reinforced with three number five top and bottom bars, with number four bars spaced at six inches on center. Two number four by two-foot six-inch epoxy dowels with a four-inch embedment extend into the existing concrete shear wall on each side of the infill.
