A glulam wood beam connects to a wide flange steel column using a concealed joint hanger sized per the schedule. The glulam beam is dapped as required for the connector and includes a 1 7/8 inch minimum wood plug to conceal the hardware. A three-sixteenths inch fillet weld secures the joint hanger to the wide flange column. A wide flange beam frames into the opposite side of the column per plan.
