A concrete slab on metal deck bears on a continuous L4x4x1/4 steel angle anchored to an existing solid grouted concrete masonry unit wall. The continuous angle is secured with three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch epoxy anchors spaced at sixteen inches on center. The concrete slab maintains a two-inch minimum thickness above the steel deck.
