Perimeter steel deck details show support conditions for both parallel and perpendicular deck orientations relative to the edge beam. The parallel configuration features a twelve gauge continuous bent plate welded to the beam top flange, secured with three-quarter-inch diameter studs at twelve inches on center with maximum overhangs up to two feet. An alternate parallel condition incorporates an L4x4x1/4 angle spaced at eight feet maximum per detail 9D. The perpendicular condition uses a sixteen gauge continuous bent edge plate supporting the fluted steel deck spanning across the edge beam.
