Three-quarter-inch diameter shear studs are welded to the steel beam top flange in single and double row configurations. Spacing requirements dictate a maximum of twenty-four inches on center with minimum edge and spacing dimensions of one and one-half inches, three inches, and four and one-half inches as shown. Additional installation criteria are governed by general notes and the steel deck schedule.
