An eight-inch concrete retaining wall bears on a concrete spread footing reinforced with number four bars at twelve inches on center each way at the top and bottom. The retaining wall is reinforced with number four bars at twelve inches on center each way, centered in the wall. A one-half-inch Corten steel plate is fastened to the wall face using two stainless steel five-eighths-inch diameter by five-inch embedment anchor bolts at twelve inches on center with stainless steel two-inch by two-inch by one-quarter-inch plate washers. The footing has a two-foot-six-inch minimum width and three inches of concrete clearance.
