Structural anchorage for an HVAC system mounted on a concrete curb cast over a metal deck. The concrete curb features a minimum eight-inch dimension with continuous number four reinforcing bars and number three stirrups spaced at twelve inches on center. The base slab is reinforced with number three bars at eighteen inches on center each way above the metal deck. Anchorage for the mechanical equipment is provided by others, anchored directly into the top of the concrete curb.
