An existing joist is anchored to an existing masonry wall using a drill and epoxy dowel with a 3/4-inch diameter threaded rod. The assembly includes four-by blocking or an existing two-by rough sawn nailer at the ledger connection. Mortar repair is required per the typical details on sheet S7.03.
