This structural steel connection joins a steel beam to a steel column using a bolted shear tab and bolted top and bottom plates. External continuity plates are provided on each side of the column web aligning with the beam flanges. Fuse plates are integrated into the connection along with a top plate, and compressible material at least one inch thick is detailed adjacent to the slab intersection.
