A reinforced concrete pad footing supports a cast-in-place grade beam and a structural column. Four number 4 reinforcing bars twelve feet long are placed within the grade beam, accompanied by four continuous number 8 bars as detailed on the structural drawings. The column base plate and anchor bolts are sized per the foundation plan. A concrete slab bears over the footing assembly.
