A buckling restrained brace connects to a gusset plate assembly centered on a work point. A single tube collar assembly fits over each end of the buckling restrained brace with a typical four and one-half inch clearance at both ends. These details are provided for reference only and the final connection design will be executed by the buckling restrained brace manufacturer.
