A concrete wall transitions between floor slabs of different elevations using post-tensioned or non-post-tensioned slab construction. A slip joint connection is required when the vertical height "H" between slabs is less than five feet. As an alternate construction sequence, a section of the concrete wall may be poured or shotcreted after the slab is stressed. Typical slab reinforcement is sized per plan.
