A new two-foot-six-inch concrete shear wall overlay bears against an existing concrete shear wall and existing concrete slab at Level 2. The overlay is tied to the existing slab using number four epoxy dowels measuring three feet zero inches long spaced at twelve inches on center with a three-inch embedment. The top row of epoxy dowels is spaced at twelve inches along the grid line.
