A three-inch landing deck comprises one and one-half inches of unreinforced concrete topping supported on one and one-half inch by twenty-two gauge high bond metal deck. The deck bears on inverted angles measuring two and one-half by two and one-half by three-sixteenths inches, which function as deck supports. Channel sections including C7x9.8 and C12 infill frame the assembly, with exposed welds ground smooth. Stair pans are modified to support the decking and frame into the structural steel channels.
