A secondary member connects to a primary column member utilizing a connector plate fastened with screws. The girder is routed to accommodate the connection hardware per plan requirements. A hanger is welded to the primary member with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds, leaving the top of the hanger unwelded per manufacturer requirements.
