This assembly features a safety tie-off anchor centered on a steel beam, provided by the davit manufacturer. The anchor post is supported by five-sixteenths inch stiffener plates welded to each side of the beam web, positioned directly beneath the hollow structural section post. A kicker brace is centered under the post as detailed on sheet 3/S-62000. The anchor is secured to the beam with a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The top of steel elevation is referenced per plan.
