Metal deck panels splice over steel beams per plan with specified end and intermediate support welds. A splice joint occurs over beam flanges less than two inches in width requiring a minimum two inch lap. Longitudinal support welds follow the weld schedule. Details show both same deck direction and change in deck direction conditions.
