Concrete wall corner and intersection reinforcing configurations for both single mat and double mat conditions. Vertical reinforcement consists of number five bars typically placed as four bars at intersections and two bars in single mat layouts unless noted otherwise. Horizontal reinforcement utilizes lap splices with standard ninety-degree hooks at corners, where straight corner bars may alternatively be used in lieu of bent bars. Alternate vertical bar bends are applied typically at intersecting walls to maintain proper lap splice lengths and concrete cover.
