A pre-cast trench drain is set flush within a concrete slab assembly and coordinated with mechanical and architectural drawings. The surrounding concrete profile features a pour joint and is reinforced with epoxy-coated number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center. Five continuous epoxy-coated number four reinforcing bars run longitudinally along the bottom profile of the thickened slab section. A one-foot dimension indicates the extent of the sloped or thickened concrete profile supporting the trench drain assembly.
