A steel girder bears on a structural angle with stiffener plates attached to a concrete tilt-up panel. The assembly utilizes a 1/2-inch by 28-inch by 14-inch embed plate anchored by eight 3/4-inch diameter by 5-inch heavy stud anchors embedded in the concrete panel. A 3/8-inch by 6-inch steel plate is welded to the embed plate with fillet welds. One 3/4-inch diameter A325 bolt is installed in a long slotted hole parallel to the tilt-up panel to allow for lateral movement across the panel joint. A joist bearing angle measuring 6x6x3/8 by 0'-8" with two 1/2-inch stiffener plates supports the structural elements.
