Vertical studs tie into a doubletrack system featuring a one-half-inch gap between the upper and lower tracks. The bottom track of the upper wall connects to the upper track of the Dietrich OTSC doubletrack system using two number-ten sheet metal screws spaced at twelve inches on center. A minimum number-ten sheet metal screw fastens each side of each stud to the sixteen-gauge Dietrich OTSC doubletrack system, whose width matches the stud size. Vertical studs are sized and spaced per schedule.
