Cast-in-place or expansion anchors are embedded into the concrete slab and metal deck assembly to secure overhead attachments. Spreader plates distribute concentrated loads across the floor or roof deck flutes. Maximum load limits are specified as six hundred pounds per four-foot length of flute for single-point connections and twelve hundred pounds per four-foot length of flute for two-anchor assemblies spaced at a minimum of four feet on center.
