An HSS10x10 post inside the elevator shaft receives an HSS outrigger welded with top and bottom L4x4x1/2 angles. The stair stringer frames into the landing assembly, utilizing L2x2x1/4 ledgers at each tread and a 16-gauge pan filled with two inches of concrete. A base angle L4x4x5/16 anchors to the level 2 concrete slab using two five-eighths inch diameter by four-inch epoxy bolts. Additional L3x3x1/4 stiffeners are provided at two-foot six-inch intervals in the landing, and a one-quarter inch cap plate closes the tube post.
