A structural framing stop connection ties a wide-flange beam and composite deck assembly to an elevator shaft wall. A continuous bent plate anchors at the deck edge using a three-eighths-inch plate secured with two expansion anchors. A pair of six-by-three-by-three-eighths-inch long-leg vertical angles connects the framing, fastened with a three-quarter-inch diameter A307 through bolt centered in a vertical two-and-a-half-inch long slotted hole. The nut is finger tightened and threads are deformed to allow movement as specified. A rail support post aligns with the framing stop per plan.
