A wide flange beam supports a full-depth stiffener plate designated as plate T, sized per plan and schedule. The stiffener plate is welded to the beam web with a fillet weld size designated as S on three sides. The stiffener plate fully extends from the top flange to the bottom flange of the wide flange beam.
