A steel beam connects to the web of a supporting steel beam using bolted framing connections. Concrete cast over metal floor deck bears on top of the steel beams, secured with welded headed stud anchors. Web stiffeners are provided on the supporting steel beam per general structural notes. The framing layout accommodates slab continuity across the support line.
