A standard concrete slab on grade assembly is positioned over non-expansive soil fill per the soils report and structural plans. A four-inch layer of crushed rock supports an ASTM E 1745 Class C vapor barrier directly beneath the concrete slab. Reinforcing steel is centered within the slab with dimensions sized per plan. The top of slab elevation is established per the architectural and structural plans.
