A knife plate extends from the concrete slab edge to support a Kebony wood screen located per architectural drawings. The knife plate is anchored with a one-half inch diameter by one-foot six-inch welded deformed bar anchor centered at the plate. A five-sixteenth by six-inch bent plate is centered at each knife plate and secured with a quarter-inch fillet weld. Additional reinforcement is provided in the slab per plan.
