The concrete slab thickness is sized per plan with the top of slab elevation established accordingly. Reinforcing steel is centered within the slab thickness per structural drawings. A vapor retarder is installed directly beneath the slab over a moisture break aggregate layer. The assembly rests on non-expansive soil placed and compacted as required per the soils report and structural plans.
