The structural steel member attaches to the embed plate via a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld. A secondary channel or framing component connects below with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. Grout or caulking in-fill covers the three-quarter inch recessed embed plate condition. Additional hollow structural section attachments reference detail H over SD13, and overall dimensions are verified with architectural plans.
