A wood-framed corner post configuration features structural sheathing applied to the exterior face. Edge nailing occurs along the vertical and horizontal edges of the sheathing into the framing members. An anchor bolt hold-down device at the base of the corner post provides uplift resistance. Framing members are fastened together to ensure load transfer at the shear wall boundary.
