A new galvanized steel stub column is supported by a structural steel beam below a metal deck assembly, utilizing deck support angles and stiffeners as detailed on plan. A new galvanized three-quarter-inch thick Fabreeka thermal break pad sits beneath a new galvanized three-quarter-inch by six-inch by one-foot-one-inch base plate, secured by four three-quarter-inch diameter A325 galvanized bolts with a three-sixteenths-inch fillet weld. The top of the stub column features a new galvanized three-quarter-inch by seven-inch by one-foot-one-inch cap plate with quarter-inch stiffener plates on each side, welded to receive a manufacturer-supplied condenser unit and skid. Post sections are provided at all dunnage locations with field-verified roof elevations.
