A channel stringer, sized per plan as a C12, connects to a typical stringer with a one-quarter-inch-thick plate secured by three three-quarter-inch-diameter machine bolts. The plate is welded with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. The stringer finish is specified per plan.
