A cold-formed steel wall assembly connects to the structural steel floor and foundation at Levels 1 and 2. At the second level, a TSN drift track fastens to the stud with two number twelve self-tapping metal screws and anchors to a five-sixteenths-inch typical base plate with either two number twelve self-tapping metal screws at eight inches on center, a one-inch weld top and bottom at eight inches on center, or two Hilti X-U powder-actuated fasteners through the base plate at eight inches on center. A TSN DTSLB400 deflection track ties the wall studs. At the first level, a steel angle detailed per sheet 5/S504 anchors to the concrete foundation or slab edge using Hilti X-U powder-actuated fasteners at twenty-four inches on center through the steel angle.
