A structural steel chord connection utilizes a pair of gusset plates attached to the center line chord member. A 1-inch thick flange plate connects to the gusset assembly using twenty-four 1-1/4 inch diameter Group B bolts installed in standard holes. The connection layout includes specified edge distances, a 10-inch center spacing, and 4-inch on-center bolt spacing.
