The Signa Voyager MRI scanner is anchored to a thickened concrete slab on grade per plan using four 1-inch diameter ASTM F593 CW2 stainless steel threaded rods. The rods are secured with Hilti HIT-RE 500V3 epoxy adhesive, requiring a 5 1/2-inch minimum effective embedment into the concrete slab in accordance with ESR-3814. The equipment center of gravity weight is specified at 10,236 pounds.
