A hollow structural section column bears on a nine-inch by five-inch by one-half-inch steel embed plate secured into an eight-inch concrete wall with two three-quarter-inch diameter anchor bolts. The structural tube welds to the embed plate with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld. The assembly details eccentric placement of the tube shifted with a four-inch clearance at panel ends.
